Susan Davies (Coris Leachman) has signed up for jury duty. She thinks it is peaceful and a cakewalk until she is posted as a jury member on a murder trial. As the trial pursues, Susan looks at different facets of the case and realizes that the convict (Nick Nolte) may not have committed the crime. Her belief is getting strengthened day by day till the time she hits upon a glaring truth. She might not be ready to accept it but she comes to think that her husband might have a hand in the murder. Does Susan go for justice?
